Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to say a few things to all y’all out there. First off, we’d like to send a big thanks to the people of London from the Norma Jeans show and the people of Guelph from the Molly Blooms show as we had awesome times with great crowds and were met with extreme hospitality from both establishments. We will definitely revisit these 2 towns in the very near future and look forward to seeing you all there again soon.

Secondly, we’d like to remind you all that we are playing tonight at Johnny B’s in Whitby which is an awesome venue and is shaping up to be a great night of local tunes and good times. We are still offering a free download of three tracks from our website which, if you show up tonight and mention the Randy River promo we will give you the password. We also have a tune up on our myspace for a free download that requires no password so go get it until the end of the week!!

Third, a quick, early heads up about our next Toronto show which is at the Tattoo Rock Parlour on Thursday, April 09th, with Bury The Bully and Alert The Medic. Two really great local bands so come out and show your support for all. This is one of only a handful of summer Toronto shows for The Cities so you’ll want to catch us while you can.

And lastly, if you made it this far, we are almost at 100,000 plays on our myspace!! This is a big deal for us so we’ve decided that the first person to send us a screen shot of our player at exactly 100,000 plays will receive a free T-shirt and CD in the mail from us. All you have to do is:

Just a little update from The Cities as we trudge on towards some warmer weather…


We will be doing a live acoustic performance on air at Indie Love radio this Friday at 6:30pm to promote the EP a little and talk about a great many things. Indie Love, in staying true to their name has shown our indie band some love by doing this and will also give us a second interview in London just before we play Norma Jeans this month so thank you Indie Love. If you don’t already listen to this great web-based radio station we suggest you start because it’s awesome and it’s a great way to keep up with all the new music pouring out of this great country right now. Hey all you music lovers,

We just wanted to send a quick reminder about tonight’s show and a few other updates. Some of you may have gotten this already or you may get it twice and for that we are truly sorry but this is just how it goes sometimes….

Tonight at the Rancho Relaxo (300 College St.) will feature the unplugged rock styling of our good friend Joe MacLeod starting at 9:30 followed by The Speakeasies from Guelph who always bring their ‘A’ game, then, closing out the night will be The Cities in typical fashion all glossed up and smelling nice…

This will be our last Toronto show for a couple months while we focus on the fans outside of the big city so if you need a fix now is your chance. Tonight is definitely one of those nights to check out all three bands as it is sure to please even the most critical ears so you don’t want to miss out.

These Three Cities self titled EP is now available for download from itunes!!! Finally the technical difficulties are over so if you don’t already have your favourite song on your ipod, get it now while supplies last….
